Domestic Violence Class – focuses on learning the early warning signals of explosive behavior, defusing anger before it gets out of control and developing conflict resolution skills specifically focused within interpersonal relationships. This group is specific for domestic violence offenders and works on integrating positive coping skills, CBT skills, and DBT skills. The group also focuses on identifying situations, factors, and stressors that promote aggressive actions and practicing skills to handle situations in a positive and appropriate manner. We also offer drug and alcohol and parenting classes that can be integrated as well. The group is facilitated by a Drew Alikakos, M.S., Licensed Psychologist who is certified in anger management and domestic violence.
